Public TV Assn's Lawson steps down John Lawson will be stepping down from his post as president and CEO of the Association of Public Television Stations next month to take a senior role in the for-profit media sector. Lawson, who has been at the helm of APTS for seven years, will join ION Media Networks as executive vice president, policy and strategic initiatives.
